Provenance: North-western China (Gansu-Qinghai)
Globular jar (olla) expanded at the top and tapered towards the base, with a flared neck. Two eyelet loops are applied symmetrically below the maximum diameter of the vase. The decoration on the shoulder is composed of horizontal motifs mainly in black, with the classic arch or festoon motif. The main decorative band presents a continuous series of six spirals in red surrounded by large black bands. The rim is decorated internally with a repeated pattern of concentric circle arches.
