Description
The plaque is in slight relief, with a hollow interior and two fixing loops at the neck and the animal's hind leg. It represents a feline, depicted in profile on his right side, with its legs folded as if about to leap. The animal's pointed ear and mouth are rendered with a deep cut, the eye with an incised circle and the claws are in slight relief. The long tail remained connected to the rest of the body thanks to a fusion smear on the hind leg. Although the feline's physiognomy is barely hinted at, its power is underlined by the vigorous contours and patterning of the body's joints.
