1st century CE (?)
Red earthenware, green and amber glaze
Cc/76.D
23,6 x 19 cm
Funerary model
Provenance: Shaanxi - Henan
Circular well with a narrowing band below the opening. The shape is that of a cylindrical jar with thin grooves at the top and bottom and a wide and often flat rim; lathe lines are visible on the bottom. Above the rim, four crossed axes support the pulley, surmounted in turn by a pitched roof. Next to one of the two inclined support beams, an amphora without loops is applied to the circular edge of the well. The well presents an iridescent green glaze, brown at the top (crossed axes, pulley, amphora).
