Description
Circular basin with perforated walls with three rectangular strips one above the other, imitating a fence. The vertical elements are incised, on the outside, with diagonally intersected lines forming lozenges. The inside is large and concave, with a flat bottom. In the center are glued four round figurines of standing geese; in an outermost band are six geese and two fish, the latter diametrically opposed. On the inclined wall the figures of three snails on one side and a snail between two eels on the other are applied: only the shell of the molluscs is represented. The entire model, inside and out, including the eighteen figurines which are distributed and spaced quite mechanically, is covered with a thick iridescent glaze.
