Description
The cup is shallow, with a wide and everted rim, with a slight shaped prominence at the bottom. The foot is very flared and hollow, and has a broad and slightly rounded base. The inside of the cup and the foot are not glazed, while the glaze on the outside has been laid out in stains and left to drip. The prominent colours are amber, creamy white and blue. The cup was perhaps used to hold a light. The shape derives from silver prototypes.
