Provenance: North-western China (Gansu-Qinghai)
Globular olla, expanded at the top and tapering towards the narrow base, with a short neck with an everlasting edge. Two eye loops are applied almost symmetrically below the maximum diameter of the vessel. The inside of the hem is decorated with serrations, a red stripe and double circular “festoon” arches. The main decorative band is delimited at the top by a black band under the neck and at the bottom by a horizontal black line at the height of the handles, with a series of repeated arches below. The main motif of the ornament consists of four equidistant red circles at the top of the vessel, entirely filled with a black net. Two concentric circles and two black circular arcs alternating with empty spaces expand each of these patterns until they connect symmetrically with adjacent ones.
