Description
The pot consists of an all-round goose with an erect neck, crouching to hide its legs. The folded wings have a raised outline compared to the rest of the body. The flat three-lobed tail constitutes an extension of the base of the container. The head is modeled with two feather curls on the temples, cheeks and eyes in relief. A straight short-necked orifice, painted red, is placed on the back of the skull. The entire surface of the vessel is painted in red and white on a black background, so as to abstractly evoke the plumage and other physical traits of the animal.
