Provenance: Northern China (Shaanxi, Henan)
Funerary statuette of a noblewoman in a standing position, but with a slight displacement of the central axis with respect to the spaced feet. Graceful gestures of the small fleshy hands. Rounded face with delicate features; pink cheeks, bright red mouth, eyes and eyebrows traced in black. Elaborate hairstyle that frames the face with a wide arch from ear to ear. Large dress with wide sleeves and V-neck, which retains traces of green pigment on the right side. The lady wears red shoes with raised toes and adorned with lobed applications.
