Description
Two rods were arranged vertically on the sides of the horse's jaw and fixed by means of laces to the lateral rings of the mouthpiece. Two cylindrical rings that serve this purpose are on the back. Their shape is curved. One end thickens and bends at the right angle to form the head of a zoomorphic creature with its tongue hanging out, seen in profile. The other decorative elements, engraved or in bas-relief, consist of abstract cicada motifs on the bar and a schematic animal head at the other end. These specimens show the same shape and decoration - mirror images - and the same dimensions. However, the different patina suggests that they may belong to different pairs.
