Description
This polished cup has thin walls, just 1 mm at the rim. The mouth has a wide disc shape and a flat bottom. The body of the cup is bell-shaped, with an increasing diameter towards the groove. The hollow support slopes down towards the foot, which is curved with a vertical thickened base. Below, the hollow support slopes down towards the foot, which is curved with a vertical thickened base. The mouth and foot of the glass are smooth; the body, under the neck, was decorated on the lathe with very fine parallel engraved lines. The decoration is completed, below the groove, by small openwork patterns in the shape of circles and petals. It is a single decorative band, where circular holes alternate with three oblong holes: two aligned diagonally, the third inclined downwards perpendicular to the others, on the right.
