Description
This polished glass has thin walls, just 1 mm thick at the rim. The deep cup has a mouth with a wide disc-shaped tray and a slightly concave bottom. The cup is bell-shaped, with an increasing diameter towards the groove. Below, the empty support slopes down towards the foot, which is curved with a vertical thickened base. The mouth and foot of the glass are smooth; the body, under the neck, is decorated on the lathe with very fine parallel engraved lines. The decoration is completed by small perforated motifs in the shape of petals and lozenges: it is a single decorative band composed of spaced groups of three converging oblong holes.
