Description
The bowl is flat and has an unglazed base, marked on the outside by three concentric incisions. In the center of the bowl an ovular jar is fixed on a large, round, hollow base, surmounted by a monkey crouching on its edge, protruding forward as if it were looking at it. The animal's broken tail and right arm that slipped down from the shoulder are furnace defects prior to or contemporaneous with the glazing process. The green, yellow-tinged display case is bright and cracked, and covers the entire object stopping irregularly above the base.
