Description
Axe head with a long, thin joint, a flattened truncated cone shape and an oval cross-section; the opening has recessed edges in an arc along the long axis. On one side, about halfway up this tubular graft, is a semi-annular eyelet in a perpendicular position, which was intended to improve the grip's fastening. On one of the two main faces, at the same height as the hook, a long, thin hole opens. There is no continuity between the handle engagement and the blade: the first one tapers a little and then widens laterally to form a bevelled wire in the shape of a circular arc. On the central part there is a decoration arranged in three bands, of which only the one closest to the blade is discernible: it represents a braid composed of several threads.
