Description
The amphora presents a globular body with a barely visible flat foot. The neck is high and thin, with three concentric and incised lines in the center. The rim is shaped like a cup with a thick lip. Two symmetrical dragon-shaped handles branch out from the mouth of the vessel towards the shoulder. Details, such as the long ears, the curly horns and the crest, are applied to the animals' heads. Three small buttons are placed on both handles. The white, green and amber
sancai
glaze drips down the walls to the center of the belly.
